Membrane keyboards were not loved as much as mechanical ones, but the Razer Ornata Chroma may change that!
Sure, you’d still see it around, used by people who either didn’t care or didn’t know about mechanical keyboards. But latly people have been upgrading from the lowly rubber dome to mechanical in mass.
In the Razer Ornata Chroma the rubber dome has reinvented itself! Well, Razer have tried to incorporate the feel of mechanical switches, a hybrid that Razer annointed with the name “mecha-membrane” which it´s used on this keyboard.

Design
The Ornata Chroma got all the features of a modern Razer keyboard. It even has Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting, same as the razer mechanical keyboards. It looks greate !
The Ornata Chroma is also the first Razer keyboard to include a magnetic wrist rest, about an inch high and containing maybe half an inch of foam. And its actually its really confortable, and it’s not just me. People apparently like it so much that Razer’s decided to fold it into the new BlackWidow mechanical keyboards, too!
My Opinion
Some people will say that it could´ve been better, but in my opinion, as a mechanical keyboard owner and lover, it´s not that bad... at first, it´s a bit weird but when you get used to it you love it! You have a shorter click and like so a faster response on games, that´s really good news for a person like me, that love the click of a mechanical keyboard but didn't really like the long press on it. At least for me, the Razer Ornata it´s perfect, and I´m not replacing it soon.
